Open Your Solar Plexus Chakra

Open up as quick as you do for anything you put your all into. Your Kids, your job, your family, that man.....OPEN UP because there is no greater LOVE than the love you have for yourself.


Solar Plexus is the love that is the center of strength and balance, both physically and emotionally. When this chakra is open and the energy flows unhindered, it is responsible for a balanced self-esteem, willpower, and a strong sense of self.

Let's repeat that........it is YOUR responsibility to balance that self-esteem, your willpower, and get a strong sense of SELF. This is important in many ways because when you are not balanced you will have an issue with self-esteem and self-image. A sign of a balanced chakra would be confidence and therefore assertiveness and drive.


An imbalanced chakra would manifest itself as a lack of motivation or direction.

Some other signs of imbalance include an excessive need for control or, alternatively, feeling helpless. Due to a lack of control over your life, you may experience an unhealthy obsession with details and therefore losing sight of the bigger picture. Frustrations caused by an imbalanced chakra could lead you to over-assert yourself in harmful and manipulative ways. This is undesirable for you and the people around you.

Finally, people with imbalanced Solar Plexus chakras tend to have no plan and therefore cannot follow through with their goals. Laziness, fatigue, and anxiety, are all common symptoms of an imbalanced chakra. This enhances the previously discussed negative effects even further, leading to a vicious cycle of feeling aimless and unfulfilled.


Opening the solar plexus chakra can take time and work, but there are some easy ways to get started and speed the process along. Here are a few steps from Teal Swan


  1. Live authentic life....BE YOU BOO

  2. Live in alignment with your personal sense of integrity....Do not watch others this can trigger your anxiety or be angry with your now.

  3. Know that you have the power to choose - Choose to be YOU and do not be afraid to make changes to who you are.

  4. Commit to a path of mastering the art of relationships - Build authentic relationships from Love, not gossip, hate or envy.

  5. Think open - Your not the only one with an opinion, so be OPEN

  6. Wear some Yellow - If you don't like yellow, wear yellow underclothes.

  7. Stimulate it with sounds - Go listen to music, do sound meditation that is my fav.

  8. Use herbs and essential oils to help your solar plexus chakra align - Peppermint, Pine, Lemon, Grapefruit, and Rosemary are a few. Peppermint and Lemon are my favs!!

  9. Rock a crystal or 2 - Natural Citrine Crystal, Amber, Yellow Tourmaline, Lemon quartz, Tiger’s Eye, Yellow Jasper are a few.

  10. Eat Foods that assist the solar plexus - corn, pineapple, squash, beans, peppers, banana, brown rice and oats. Spices - turmeric and ginger

  11. Deliberately think thoughts and say things and take actions and seek out experiences that cause you to feel good about yourself and to feel personally empowered.

  12. Get out there and take some risks - Don't be scared

  13. Get out in the sun


These are a few simple ways to balance your Solar Plexus.....So go ahead and get stared!
