🌱 Breaking Karmic Cycles From the Root Chakra: A Personal Journey Into My Shadow Self

I never realized how deep the Root Chakra really goes until life sat me down and made me face everything I kept running from. The Root isn’t just about grounding or stability it's about the stories you inherited, the memories you didn’t choose, the fears you never spoke aloud, and the patterns that kept showing up no matter how much healing work you thought you were doing.

If I’m being honest…I didn’t start this journey because I felt enlightened.I started because I was tired.......tired of repeating the same emotional loops, tired of attracting the same situations, tired of feeling unsafe in my own body.

I wanted peace.I wanted to breathe again.I wanted to trust life.

And the Root Chakra whispered, “Come sit with me. We need to talk.”

🔻 The Moment I Realized It Was Karmic

It wasn’t just my fear.It wasn’t just my anxiety.

It was my grandmother’s, my mother’s, and the silent weight of generations sitting inside my body.I could feel the patterns repeating:

• survival mode

• “be strong, don’t cry”

• instability masked as independence

• overgiving to feel safe

• shrinking myself to avoid conflict

It all lived in my Root. Not because I chose it, but because no one before me had the tools to heal it.

🔻 Meeting My Shadow Self

Shadow work will humble you in the most beautiful way.

When I finally sat with my shadow, she wasn’t angry, she was scared. She had been carrying things no one ever asked her about.

She asked me:

• “Why do you keep running when all I want is for us to feel safe?”

• “Why do you apologize for needing support?”

• “Why do you think survival is the only way to live?”

And that cracked me right open.

My healing wasn’t about changing who I was. It was about remembering who I was before fear took over.

🔻 Breaking the Karmic Contract

One night, I wrote everything down every fear, every generational pattern, every belief that never felt like mine. And I read it out loud:

“This ends with me. I release what my ancestors carried. I honor them by healing myself.”

None of this sadness was release. It was rebirth.

And in that moment, I felt my Root Chakra soften. I felt my body say, “Thank you for finally listening.”

🔻 Rewiring the Root Through Daily Rituals

Healing didn’t happen in one night. It happened every day I chose differently.

• When I chose rest instead of burnout

• When I allowed myself to feel instead of shutting down

• When I asked for help without guilt

• When I stopped overgiving to feel worthy

• When I let my inner child feel safe in my adult body

This was the real healing. Not the crystals. Not the incense. Not the rituals.

But the choice to show up differently every single day.

The rituals just supported me as I did it.

🔻 The Breakthrough

I didn’t notice the shift immediately and I been going hard since 2014. I truly felt my power 2024 when I went on a celibacy & fitness journey. Let's be real the celibacy lasted a year lol, however the freedom....hit different

It showed up in small ways:

• I stopped chasing people.

• My anxiety calmed down.

• Money started flowing in new ways.

• My boundaries grew stronger.

• My confidence returned.

• I stopped feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions.

That’s when I realized: I am broking the cycle. Not perfectly. Not instantly. But consistently. The Root Chakrawork, works because I finally believed I deserved to feel safe, protected, grounded, and held.
