At some point, you’ve got to sit back, be still, and reflect on the hard shit you’ve conquered. It’s easy to get caught up in the grind of constant self-improvement, constantly "healing," or thinking we’ve always got to be fixing something within us. But what if we’re already whole? What if part of the journey is realizing we don’t need to stay in survival mode forever?
I’ve come to realize that being "overly healing" isn’t always the answer. In fact, it can be draining. Sometimes, your nervous system needs a break from all that digging and unearthing of wounds. It needs space to breathe, time to just be. And sometimes, that’s exactly where you find the light—by simply stopping and giving thanks.
In this season of the Hunter's Moon happing on October 17, hunt for that lightness, that ease, that peace! ☮️ In this emotional season turn the dark to light!!!! Affirm, I’m embracing the light. This is the season where we’ve done the work. We’ve put in the time, faced our shadows, and now it’s time to step into the light, fully. This moon energy is all about harvesting what you’ve worked for. Instead of chasing more healing, we get to reap the rewards, to give thanks for what we’ve survived, and to walk forward with confidence, knowing we’ve already done the hard work.
If it ain’t light, it ain’t right. I’m not saying the tough times aren’t valid, but we’re allowed to step away from that constant hustle and stress. Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do for yourself is to honor your journey, and let yourself shine. Now’s the time to embrace that glow up, to celebrate your wins, big or small, and to honor the peace you’ve created for yourself.
So, as we enter this Hunter’s Moon season, ask yourself: Have I given myself enough space to be still? To bask in the light of everything I’ve conquered? If not, this is your reminder. Your journey isn’t just about healing—it’s about balance, growth, and shining your light.
Stay in your light. Let go of the need to always be “fixing” and start living. Because sometimes, that’s where your true healing happens. Asé
